Having only spent a year in audio, I don’t have much experience reviewing headphones, but I have taken a pretty big interest in them lately. My latest purchase is these, following the Mammoth. I love the design, but mine came a bit scuffed it seems. The cable that came with it also had rust or some kind of discoloration on the cable, but a quick customer service email has that fixed and a new cable should be on its way shortly. Sound wise, it’s a bit more fatiguing that I was expecting, but they are extremely comfortable. Just the right size.

I don’t consider myself as audiofile but the sound on this is a bit disappointing. Highs and mids are a bit strong and cold. Mid to mid-low is bit muffled. Lows are good and has impacts but sub base feels like I am hearing it over a wall.
I love the design and fit but cable is not very good. Maybe it needs to be burned-in a little more. So are, it is ok sounding IEM but not worth the price.

I have Ara and just purchased Saber as well.
Compared to Ara, Saber sounds as balanced as Ara. Saber is a very good IEM you have must!! All the beautiful things you can find inside Saber:)

Excellent Build Quality and Comfort.
Personally, I find Saber to has a lot in common with Holocene. Low-mid bass is punchy, fast and thumping without being overwhelming. Vocal is OK, has decent clarity and not drown out by other sounds. Mid and High can be too sibilant sometimes such as snares or S/SH vocal sound but overall quite lively treble.
Soundstage has some width and depth, you can easily discern location of each instrument. However the instrument separation is not that great when there are a lot going on at the same time and can get a bit muddy but not that bad otherwise.
I really recommend if you like a in-your-face energy and vibrant sound and it may not be for you if you don’t like the sibilance of high-mid part and looking more for detailed, clear experience.
