Beryllium PVD Diaphragm
Campfire Audio is proud to be the first company to use a revolutionary breakthrough speaker technology implemented exclusively for in-ear monitors, a Beryllium PVD dynamic driver.
Our revolutionary Beryllium PVD material is fantastic in our 8.5mm driver. Due to it’s ridgid nature, it delivers clarity and dynamics with ease. In the Dorado, this driver is optimized to cross-over nicely with the dual balanced armature drivers.

Liquid Alloy Metal Body
Ultra high density, remarkable mechanical strength and excellent acoustic properties compelled us to utilize Liquid Alloy Metal with our updated dynamic driver line.

Soaring High with T.A.E.C.
Dual high frequency drivers discard a traditional ‘tube & damper’ tuning system for our new Tuned Acoustic Expansion Chamber™ (TAEC).
3-D printed chamber provides the acoustic tuning without compression. As a result, high frequencies are extended and open, providing an unmatched sonic quality unique to Campfire Audio earphones.

What People Are Saying…
If you’re looking for an IEM that has an energetic, warm and fun sound that has a delicate smattering of detail retrieval, look no further.
Alfred - accessibleaudio.co
The best way to describe the Dorado is fun. Plain and simple. It has copious amounts of bass response and tons of detail up top.
Scott Burnside - audiophileon.com
Dorado has a clear and open sounding signature. A thicker note presentation gives it an overall full and engaging sound, with a slightly enhanced treble that boosts its clarity and adds a nice bit of sparkle.

Super Durable Finish
Dorado is offered with a PVD ‘Sunrise’ finish. This visually appealing and long lasting finish keeps your Dorado looking great for years to come.
Extra Strong MMCX
Our custom Beryllium Copper MMCX eliminates the traditional shortcomings of the connection and harnesses all of its benefits. Beryllium Copper provides a robust mating mechanism; one that is typcially made from soft brass. This selection of a harder material extends the life of component and the earphone.

Best IEM the money could possibly buy. If you compared it to its competitors, such as, Shure SE846 and Senneheiser IE800; the dorado’s offer much better value than its competitors like having a better cable and case. In addition, the Dorado’s have much better build quality and a beautiful rose gold like finish. The finish is so utterly gorgeous that you could just wear them as an accessory. Moving on to sound quality, the bass is unreal probably out of this world especially if you like bassy songs (Justice-Woman, Randy). However, it’s preferable to have good DAC portable one of course, such as, Chord MOJO. If not, I highly suggest save your money on buying a good DAC then consider buying a high end IEM ,in order to, reach its full potential. Seal is crucial to have good bass response; I highly suggest trying all the foam tips when you receive your IEM’s. All in all, the Dorado’s are so good that will make you listen to your whole music library all over again: which is great.

I dont have any other high ends to compare them to, but with that being said, they are the best headphones I have ever heard in my life. Great for electronic music genres. Worth every penny, robust build quality, excellent sound quality!

Had a chance to break these in and compare them to the Vega’s. The Dorado may be slightly cheaper than Vega, but dont be fooled the sound quality is equal in quality but different in character. To my ears the Dorado has a very slight XxX sound signature but almost flat. The bass is warm, booming, deep and strong but not overly aggressive. The Mids are sweet, creamy, airy and clear. The Treble is snappy, hypnotic, very defined, surgical but by no means sterile. Dorado has a very hypnotic, magical, angelic, heavenly airiness to it that is mesmerizing. I listen primarily to electronic music, to me it sound best with, Trance, House, Chillout, Chillstep, Ambient, Smooth Jazz, Ballads, easy listening, and softer more melodic Pop music. It has the kind of sound that will send you into a fantasy dream land and make you forget reality. Does NOT do well with aggressive music, movies or video games. I love them, they shine in more relaxed genre’s and do not do well in aggressive genre’s. Amazing a master at their niche, but definitely not a jack of all trades.
