Using a combination of four balanced armatures, Jupiter, creates a wonderfully rich, yet balanced sound. In addition, it features an expansive soundstage. Jupiter would go on to get multiple revisions, internally and externally. Internally, Jupiter would be optimized by our Tuned Acoustic Expansion Chamber (TAEC), while externally, it would get updates to finish quality of its outer housing.

Orion

With a single, full-rage balanced armature, Orion creates a true reference frequency response. It creates top-to-bottom coherence of a dynamic driver with the detail and clarity that a balanced armature brings. Orion would go on to get multiple updates in the finish quality of its outer housing.

Lyra

We integrated a custom 8.5mm beryllium PVD transducer into a tuned high mass ceramic enclosure, creating a powerful combination. Lyra delivers a natural and dynamic sound–exceptional high-frequency extension, silky smooth mids, and deep, powerful bass response.

The enclosure material is an ultra high-density ceramic, Zirconium Oxide Ceramic (ZrO2).  Used as an acoustic chamber, the physical properties of this ceramic carry excellent detail.  Less distortion extended high frequency and a natural tonality.  It minimizes vibrations that could distort the driver’s sound if left unchecked.

Nova

Featuring a dual balanced armature configuration, Nova offers a smooth high-frequency response with mids that are balanced and open. Vocals are natural and engaging, while low frequencies are full-bodied and round out the sonic presentation.

Dorado.

Campfire Audio is proud to be the first company to use a revolutionary breakthrough speaker technology implemented exclusively for in-ear monitors, a Beryllium PVD dynamic driver.

In addition to the dynamic driver, Dorado’s hybrid design incorporates dual high frequency drivers.

We discarded the traditional ‘tube & damper’ tuning system for our new Tuned Acoustic Expansion Chamber™ (TAEC). 3-D printed chamber provides the acoustic tuning without compression. As a result, high frequencies are extended and open, providing an unmatched sonic quality unique to Campfire Audio earphones.

In 2020, Dorado would get an update and upgrade, in both interior and exterior. Adding a ceramic outer housing to a new, custom ADLC dynamic driver.

Vega

Vega uses a single 8.5mm non-crystalline diamond dynamic driver in a unique liquid alloy metal housing. It flawlessly conveys recorded sound–sparkling high frequency extension, slightly forward and engaging mids, and deep, powerful bass response.

Andromeda

A combination of all of the accumulated knowledge and experience of the first several Campfire models, Andromeda presented a truly ground-breaking experience. Using a combination of five balanced armatures (2 for highs, 1 for mids, and 2 for bass), and our Tuned Acoustic Expansion Chamber, Andromeda creates a balanced but rich sonic experience, as well as an expansive soundstage that brings music to life.

Polaris

A hybrid design IEM, Polaris uses an 8.5mm dynamic driver coupled with a single balanced armature. Classic Solaris

Pushing ourselves to discover what is possible, we explored the outer horizon and found something exceptional; Solaris. Solaris is a hybrid design, blending the best of the balanced armature performance with the physicality of dynamic drivers.

It features 2 custom balanced armature drivers paired with our T.A.E.C for extended highs, without sibilance or fatigue. A larger single rear-ported balanced armature driver provides rich delivery of mid frequencies. A specially tuned version of our 10mm A.D.L.C. dynamic driver, optimized with our Polarity Tuned Chamber, anchors the sonic performance with deeply engaging mid-frequency tonality and visceral bass response.

Cascade

Cascade is a culmination of a 3 year engineering effort to bring our signature sound to a headphone.

The result is a portable, closed-back headphone that sounds and performs like it’s open. Specially crafted custom drivers are at the heart of Cascade, creating a soundstage that expands well beyond the listening space.

Featuring excellent high-frequency extension, cymbals sparkle and expand on a wide soundstage. Mids are clear and uncolored. The bass response is special; rich in texture and well defined. All qualities you won’t find in a typical closed back design. It has the unique sound you expect from a Campfire Audio headphone.

c/2019 Q4

As the name implies, this model was released in late 2019 as a limited run. With 3 mid-focused balanced armatures, the c/2019 Q4 offered superior clarity and detail. A special release made exclusively for Mixwave.

Solaris Special Edition

This special edition Solaris was both a technical and aesthetic reimagining of the original Solaris. A new 3D printed ceramic acoustic chamber enhances the sonic experience. Hand selected natural abalone inlays offer each pair a unique finish.

Acoustic enhancements unique to this special edition deliver a sound that further refined Solaris’s sonic signature.

This edition was limited to 900 total units.

Andromeda Gold

Andromeda Special Edition: Gold expands on the best elements of Andromeda’s sonic signature with a dramatic flourish. It adds 2 additional balanced armature drivers to Andromeda’s standard 5 BA design. These bass drivers provide more weight and depth to the low frequency delivery.

The bass is punchy and deep. The highs sparkle and the mids are present and unfiltered. This earphone is musical with ease all while delivering superior top-to-bottom coherence.

This is an individually numbered laser engraved limited edition of 1000 pairs.

Polaris II

Polaris II represents a total reimagining of the original Polaris. Spacious highs and mids open up over top of rich and impactful bass. Polaris boasts a bombastic sound ideal for modern music. It delivers a listing experience that is simultaneously warm, natural, and detailed.

Our Polarity Tuned Chamber™ combines with a 9.2mm dynamic driver and does the heavy lifting while our T.A.E.C.™ paired with a balanced armature to present classic Campfire Audio sparkle.

Based on our classic Campfire Audio profile, Polaris features a cerulean blue anodized finish with black PVD screws. Black stainless steel spout and Machined Aluminum Body are paired with a custom beryllium / copper insulated round MMCX connector.

IO

Io (eye-oh) was created using more iterations and prototypes than any other Campfire model, leading to a sound that is fast, resolving, and engaging for the listener. It’s refined mid range complements extended high frequencies and articulate bass.

Based on our classic Campfire Audio profile, Io features a ‘Garnet’ Red Anodized Finish with 24K Gold Plated Screws. Stainless Steel Spout and Machined Aluminum Body are paired with a custom beryllium / copper insulated round MMCX connector

Mixwave 10-Year Anniversary SE Andromeda

A limited run Andromeda model made in collaboration with one of our longest-running partnerships, celebrating our 10-year anniversary of working with Japanese Hi-Fi seller Mixwave. This edition of Andromeda featured specially crafted, 3-d printed ceramic driver housings and acoustic chamber.

Andromeda 2020

One of the most drastic revisions of Andromeda to date, Campfire introduced the incorporation of our new patented solid-body design. This not only optimized acoustic performance but improved the durability and overall resilience of an already road-worthy earphone.

Andromeda 2020 is a world-renowned, 5-balanced armature configuration IEM that features an expansive soundstaging, precise imaging, detail, clarity, and richness of sound across the frequency spectrum.

Ara

Incorporating a ‘Crossover-less’ driver design with our new Solid-Body acoustic design into a Titanium shell Machined from Grade 2 Titanium billet. Ara has a speed and accuracy to its musical delivery that is truly exceptional, with the right touch of warmth and richness to recall the best in classic HiFi.

 

Ara is a seven balanced armature design; two high, one mid, four low. It does not use typical passive electronic components to crossover the drivers. Instead, we shape the driver’s performance by articulating the acoustic properties of our Solid-Body internal chamber design (T.A.E.C+)

Dorado 2020

The Campfire Audio Dorado 2020 breathes new life into the name and the legacy of the original with a fresh take on its classic hybrid design.

A single balanced armature augments our custom-tuned 10mm A.D.L.C. diaphragm dynamic driver.  Leaving the sparkling highs to the B.A., this dynamic driver is afforded the space to dig in a bit deeper, reach a bit lower, and deliver rich and satisfying bass.  Its vocal delivery is precise and pronounced.

Dorado 2020 also features an update to the putter housing, switching to a ceramic shell that undergoes a 5-day long sintering process. The density and resilience of this material provides superior resonance and durability.

Holocene

Released in tandem with Mammoth, Holocene is a remarkably balanced, reference oriented earphone. Holocene features a single custom balanced armature for highs, and two independent custom balanced armatures covering mids and lows. Mammoth

Released in tandem with Holocene, Mammoth has a bold and vibrant sound that offers a surprising combination of visceral fun and technical brawn. Your favorite tracks are given a new life with the expansive outstretched sound stage and meaty frequency response.

The ‘guts’ of this creation contain a custom balanced armature for highs, a single custom BA for mids, and a new custom 10mm bio-cellulose diaphragm dynamic driver. This dynamic driver has an old-school sound; floor toms, kicks, and bass hits to holographic realism.

The Campfire Audio Mammoth is adorned with glow-in-the-dark elements, and comes in an anodized aluminum shell in Frozen Tundra blue.

Solaris X – Astell & Kern / Campfire Audio Collaborative Edition

A joint venture to create an earphone that specifically captures the deep and rich sound that Astell & Kern strives for. Solaris X uses a custom tuned 10mm dynamic drivers, as well as 2 custom balanced armatures; one for the mids, and one for the highs.

Solaris X combines the size and profile of our Solaris 2020, with a beautiful red-swirl inlay. Creating an astounding earphone in both performance and aesthetic.

A revitalized aesthetic of a Campfire classic. Glow accents, upgraded cable, and an updated case add flair and unique flavor to bring Orion into the modern era. Created especially for the Campfire Multiverse in 2021 and limited to 30 total units.

Solaris “Shrink Ray” Edition

A special, limited-run Solaris created for the Campfire Multiverse 2021. Solaris Shrink Ray brings the sonic advancements and improvements to size and form factor made with Solaris 2020 while reviving the brilliant gold-plated look of the Classic Solaris. This limited run IEM was limited to 80 units.

Andromeda Special Edition: Gold “Titanium Series”

One of the most well-regarded special editions of Andromeda ever created was the Andromeda Special Edition: Gold. We revived an alternate version of this earphone with a reimagined aesthetic, incorporating a machined titanium shell and a stainless steel nozzle, accented by gold screws. This 7-balanced armature IEM is a truly special creation in the realm of Campfire IEMs, with only 30 sets in existence.

Night Sky 3D

A reimagining of previous iterations of Campfire IEMs created a new, limited-run, 3 balanced armature earphone. With an aesthetic and sonic presentation reminiscent of a clear, star-filled night, Night Sky 3D offers a unique experience for those seeking an analytical, reference earphone. Night Sky features a black Cerakote aluminum shell with a one-of-a-kind midnight blue inlay. A truly rare IEM, less than 10 were made for Campfire’s Multiverse event in 2021.

Onyx

An all-new, limited-run hybrid IEM made for the Campfire Multiverse event in 2021. Onyx features a single, high frequency dedicated balanced armature alongside a single dynamic driver covering the mid and low frequencies. In a lightweight, durable black ABS shell Onyx offers a well-rounded form factor and sonic presentation.

Andromeda King

The rarest edition of Andromeda, with less than 10 in existence worldwide, this iteration will never be produced again. Initially made as a prototype and never brought into full production. These rare gems became the crown jewel of our Campfire Multiverse event in 2021. A first-of-its-kind event in which Campfire released rare and newly imagined versions of classic IEMs along with an all-new IEM as well.

Saber

A hybrid design unique among Campfire IEMs, Saber is the first of our lineup to use multiple dynamic drivers alongside a single balanced armature. Further lending to the uniqueness of Saber is the incorporation of a real Damascus Steel lid makes each earphone a one-of-a-kind conversation piece.
